[Travel Gadgets] Rowenta Travel Iron (Model# DA1560)

Are you looking for a travel iron to go on vacation with? I gotta recommend you this fabulous iron that sells pretty good. Usually Rowenta Irons are made in Germany or France but this one is made in China for some odd reason. This is a microsteam iron and it has a large water tank. That would save a lot of time because going to the washroom filling up water all the time would be quite frustrating right? This iron also comes with an storage bag – not only that – the handle is fold-able – saves a lot of room in your luggage. I don’t usually iron my clothes but my husband does because of his dress shirts – that’s why I got this iron.

[Travel Gadgets] Braun Shaver (Model#M-90)

This is another travel gadget I got for my other half last vacation. I thought it would be a great idea to get a travel shaver because it saves a lot of room and it’s convenient. This shaver is made in China (usually Braun shaver is made in Germany – don’t know why this one is made in China?) This shaver is battery operated – meaning we don’t need to bring a charging cord – batteries will do. Cool huh?

[Travel Gadgets] Remington Travel Shaver (Model#R91)

Another travel gadgets I was checking out at the store – can’t help it. I love traveling! My brother is going to Vancouver in a couple of days – I’m looking for a travel shaver for him – so he doesn’t have to take the one from home. Another gadget huh? I love checking out gadgets – I’m such a gadget girl. This shaver is not bad because it’s small and it saves room in the luggage. Why not right? I didn’t get it yet – I’m still waiting to see if he wants it. Forgot about the price – but from my memories – it’s $32.99?? Don’t remember.

[Travel Gadgets] Samsonite Coverter/Adaptor Plug Kit

I always get confused between wattage converter and adapter. It’s two different things! I finally figured it out and it’s important to know these things when you travel a lot. I never bought a set of these before – so I was educated by the sales on what this kit is. She gave an excellent explanation. The dual wattage converter is basically for the electronic that we use in our country to convert the wattage to another country. On the other hand – an adapter is for when you go to another country – you gotta bring it with you because the plugs are different there! Get it? I finally figured it out.

I picked out this plug kit for my Europe vacation – not going to bring all the pieces because that’s a lot – I’m only going to bring the European adapter and the wattage converter! This plug kit was quite pricey but never mind – because it is world wide kit – that means I don’t have to buy another kit. I’m so smart eh?

[Travel Gadgets] Austin HouseTravel Scale (Model# 0507TS00)

I was shopping around and I came into a store where they sell travel items. I was quite interested on this scale – since we do go on vacation a lot and sometimes we do have overweight items. That can be expensive when we are paying for the extra weight huh? Having a scale is not bad – this one can only hold up to 75LB though. Don’t think this is enough. I didn’t end up purchasing this – I’m leaning toward a digital one instead. What do you guys think of this product?

[Travel Gadgets] Avanti Travel Blow-Dryer (Model# AV-Trav)

This is one of the travel iron I picked out for my Vancouver vacation – not very necessary but I find that the blow dryer in hotels are not very strong. Not only that – I dislike how everyone touched it – it’s just me. The house keeper probably does clean the handle but you never know if they do or not right? I prefer my own things. This one has a dual voltage – meaning we can use it in Canada or in other countries. This blow dryer’s wattage is 1600 – not bad for something so small eh? What I like about it is that its light weight and fold-able – saves so much room in the luggage! That’s a biggie! & It has a hot and powerful air flow as well. How great is that eh?
