Summer Activity in Toronto ; CNE (Mid August – Early September)

A bit early blogging about summer events. This really shows how much I miss summer! Nonetheless I’m going to blog about the events I’m bringing my son this summer. Summer is a time to go out and enjoy the wonderful weather we have in Toronto.

If you are visiting during Mid-August to Early-September – you can join this event too! Canadian National Exhibition is only opened for 3 weeks in a year – so if you miss it this year – you’ll have to join next year. To us – we’ve been living here long enough that its nothing special anymore. We still do go every year for the heck of it. Since we added a new addition to our family – that gives us another reason to go. Just to enjoy the weather, the games, the food, and the shopping. There is an entrance fee to get into the park. Ranges from $5.00CAD to $15.00CAD – it all depends when you go. Sometimes you can even find discounted coupons online! Are you ready for the fun?

Hana-bi @ First Markham Place (Highway 7 & Woodbine Ave)

This place is own by Korean people and it’s been around for a very long time. We love coming to this place for a la carte menu because the food is really fresh here and the service is excellent – otherwise I wouldn’t go back to this place. We usually go for there lunch special now – which is pretty inexpensive than dinner time. But all in all – for a la carte menu Japanese restaurant – this is the only place we go to. If you are a closer customer to them – they will give you a free house appetizer too.
