Day out with the Grandpa

Been awhile since I last visited my grandpa – so I thought it be nice to take him out for a walk and than look at some deals at www.rentakneewalker.com for him. He’s been having foot pain a lot and I thought a knee walker will help him out. It’s not that expensive to rent a knee walker. Now the problem is – would he use it? He is a very stubborn person – I might have to do quite a bit of convincing to get him to use it. Wish me luck!

Toronto Center Island

Visited Center Island in Mid-May and look at the beautiful weather we had. It was around 19 to 22 degree that day. Let me tell you – if you decide to visit Center Island – wait till the weather is a lot hotter because when you are near water – it tends to be colder. It was sunny and all for me but definitely was a bit cold that day. It’s been awhile since I’ve been here – pretty clean here I must say. Took the ferry – $7.00 round trip. Not a bad price and you can walk the whole island if you want to. I only walked for an hour and called it a day because it was breezy with the wind blowing.

After Center Island – I went to check out a Music Shop nearby to check the price of a phantom power – a bit on the pricier side I must say. Still thinking about it though – should I get it or not? That’s a tough decision. Gotta sleep on it for a bit.

Overall – a nice experience at Center Island – definitely coming back next year with my family.

Spring Cleaning at Home

My body is so darn sore from cleaning up the garage yesterday with the family. When you live in a house in Toronto – that’s one of the main things you do in the summer because during winter season – a lot of snow and salt is accumulated inside the garage. We had to fix a couple of shelving units with toggle bolts yesterday too. Good thing the garage is now clean and in working condition. We can now store our summer gadgets in the garage.

Online Shopping Addict

I started my online shopping craze since the winter. Not gonna lie – when winter hits Toronto – all I want to do is hibernate at home. Look outdoors now – mid-April – it still does feel like winter weather. That’s how my online shopping came out from. I went from buying burlap table runners to ceramic dishes to hair clips. The list never ends and it’s a crazy habit to have. I just hope summer weather is around the corner – so I’ll be staying away from my laptop for awhile. One thing I enjoy the most during online shopping is having the mailman deliver my packages to my doorstep. I think my mailman is tired of seeing me two times a week now!

Spring in Toronto

I’m really not loving this weather right now! It’s been Spring for a whole month and yet the weather is not treating us that nice. I was suppose to go pick up my friend’s alesis io dock at the music shop today but I end up staying home because of this gloomy weather. Whatever happened to the sun – please do come out! I have enough with this weather – if the weather don’t start brightening up – I’m going to think of moving countries soon!

Shopping for a Birthday Present

I asked a lot of friends where I can get a cheap gemeinhardt for a relatives birthday but boy was it hard to find a cheap one. Gemeinhardt isn’t cheap at all and it is hard to find in this city of ours. I ended up getting our relative a gift card at a music shop instead – so she can pick out whatever she likes.

My Cuba Trip

Hubby and I just came back from Cuba a couple of days ago and it was an awesome trip! One of the best trips we had so far and enjoyed it to the fullest. We brought back some cigar ashtray as souvenirs from Cuba. It’s pretty unique and I hope for our friends that smoke would have good use for it. Buying souvenirs at Cuba was pretty inexpensive and we got a lot of unique things too. It was a fun and relaxing trip!

Swimming Pool in Condos

One of the things I want in a condo is an above ground pool at the very bottom floor. It’s like a luxury thing to have – you can go downstairs to relax whenever you want or even use the sauna. This is one of the things we must have when looking at condos. The other thing is a walk-in closet, open concept, and double sink master bathroom. Am I asking for too much or what?

Printing for a business

At first when we opened a shop – we didn’t know there were so much to do. I didn’t realize the stress of everything but thank god for online brochure printing – I didn’t need to step out the door to get these printings done. They deliver it right to my door – saves me a lot of time. Now we are just printing business cards online and will be delivered by next week. Looks like everything is coming all together!

Working from Home

I’ve been working on my dashboard scorecard for a couple of hours now – it’s a joy because I enjoy it a lot when I work from home and on a very flexible schedule. The thing I need to work on is to work on my assignments earlier than last minute. I really need to work on that because I’ve been such a bad girl doing it all last minute. Gives a bad expressions to my advertisers. Now – that’s my goal for 2013. I need to set myself a set of goals to follow and than motivate myself!
